Current Projects

Dr. Amante is currently the directing advisor for undergraduate English and undesignated majors. He also works closely with our English Education students seeking teaching certification. He and has been teaching at UNC Charlotte since 1974 and plans to retire later in 2005

Selected Professional Service

Dr. Amante was the first recipient of the university’s Departmental Teaching Award and a Bank of America Award for Teaching Excellence semi-finalist in 2000.
